The Communications Store chose Pencil to help modernise and update its brand identity as the agency celebrates its 20th year in business in 2015.

"The challenge was to find a creative solution for the longform company name as well as for the initials TCS, that would endure,” says Creative Director Jenny Dyson who worked with typography genius Emma Williams to help land the perfect look and feel for the brand.

Alongside a fresh typographic approach to the longform name, a stamp was created as a motif, plus a suite of decorative patterns linking the different departments together. Patterns are applied effectively on site at the agency’s prestigious office space in Kensington, London, plus used decoratively on bags/stationery/business cards. Like the founders of TCS, the result is chic, understated and smart.
