Super delighted to see the t-shirt we made for philanthropist and friend Noella Coursaris and her wondrous charity Malaika making its first outing in The Congo. The design is based on sketches drawn by the children of Malaika school, from a brief created by us.
The winning sketch was then hand drawn by Jenny Dyson and is now the official t-shirt for everyone attending the school.
Malaika has a beautiful mission to empower Congolese girls and their communities through education. Built in 2011, the Malaika School is a free school providing a quality education to 314 girls in the village of Kalevuka. The school is just one aspect of the work the Malaika foundation is doing in this poverty stricken corner of Africa.
This makes us very happy.
